Kobe is the sixth largest city in Japan and is the capital city of the Hyogo Prefecture. It is located on the southern side of the main Island of Honshu. It's a port city with a populaton of approximately 1.5 million inhabitants and, along with Osaka and Kyoto, forms part of the Keihanshin metroplitan area.
Kobe is a cosmoplitan city and is home to over 100 international corporations headquartered there.

School / Course(s): Japanese Courses: The Communica Institute Japanese school offers 8 levels of Japanese classes. Each level lasts 3 months. Japanese courses are divided into Beginner Japanese classes, Elementary Japanese classes, Intermediate Japanese classes, and Advanced Japanese classes. Each of these levels is further divided into 2 levels.
The Japanese courses meet 4 hours per day, 5 days a week. An "Intensive" Japanese courses can be taken for as little as one month. Pre-College Japanese courses are offered, as are private Japanese classes, Japanese conversation classes and Japanese classes for business.

School / Course(s): Japanese Course Description: The Kobe Toyo Japanese College offers General Japanese courses lasting 1 year, a Japanese Course for Academic Purposes lasting 1.5 years, and a Japanese Course for Academic Purposes (II) lasting 2 years. One year Japanese courses start in April and October. The 1.5 year Japanese course starts in October, and the 2 year Japanese course starts in April.
Japanese classes are held Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 12:30.
