School / Course(s): The Japanese courses at Nagoya University are open to all international students, including non-degree students. Standard Japanese courses and Intensive Japanese courses are offered. The Standard Japanese Courses meet for five 90-minute sessions every week, and are offered at eight different levels, and the Intensive Courses meet for ten 90-minute sessions every week, and are offered at four levels. Semesters for these courses are 12 weeks long.
Nagoya University also offers an Intensive Course in Elementary Japanese, and Intensive Course in Advanced Japanese.
The Istituto Dante Alighieri has only one objective: to teach and to propagate Italian language and culture throughout the world. Over the years it has become famous for its Italian language courses for foreign students.
